11/26-11/29

  • i like waterfalls

    Current mood:cold

    i like butterflies.
    i like rainbows.
    I like chasing cars.

    Oh that Kristen.

Seeing 2 out of 6 friends I would've like to have seen over break is kind of sad. Granted, I saw 3 of the other 4 within the past 3 weeks, so I guess it's okay. But I doubt I'll be seeing much of that one the next time I'm home... or anytime I'm home.
    Whatev.

    today went well =]
    thank you.
    i'm trying.

everything will go well between me and father tomorrow.
everything will go well with my car tomorrow.
my mother will get off work at a reasonable time tomorrow.
my mother will be financially stable.
my student account will be taken care of by december 11.
i will be able to register for second semester by december 12.

I didn't know they could last for hours. Last night was not fun at all. Probably the worst night's sleep ever. But not really, since I couldn't sleep.
    Hopefully tonight goes better.

11/22-11/25

  • all i want

is for my account to be magically paid off. I really would like to be able to register for classes and to stop checking to see if the classes I want are still open. And I got charged more money today for my music fee. I thought it was already in there, but no. It's added to the list. I'm just getting more and more stressed about it everyday and I hate it.

For Christmas, all I want is for my account to be paid off. For my birthday too. I'm totally okay with that.

I cannot wait to go home tomorrow. I don't know where I'm going, I just know I'm leaving Malibu and not coming back til Sunday. Big deal. I haven't been away from school for that long.
I'm super excited to eat and to see my family and my friends and all of that good stuff.
I still need to pack though...

I don't really know what to write about, so Katy said I should write about stuff... So I am.
I went to afternoon mass today, so that was new. It was empty compared to 10:30 mass. When I got back I pretty much just hung out here. I went to lunch and dinner, but that was the only venturing out I did. I played ukulele for a while and learned some new songs, but nothing special. I can't really find anything that translates well from guitar to uke. I guess if I tried, I could play guitar. I think I'd be better at bass though. I can read bass clef, I played cello, and I'm used to bass lines, so I don't see why I wouldn't be good at it. Idk.
I'm super excited to go home. I can't wait to get my grub on! Real food!

    Seriously.

11/18-11/21

  • why?

Why did I get hit this time? Why has God helped me so many other times, and not this one? Don't get me wrong, THANK YOU LORD for keeping me safe every time I've been out on the road, but why did this happen? It wasn't my fault. He didn't even have his lights on.
But thank God I'm safe. Hopefully my car's okay.

i love some of my friends. for sure.

    lights will guide you home.
    and ignite your bones.
i will try to fix you.

That's how many points I have left until the end of the semester. MORE than enough. I better start getting smoothies and Odwallas everyday to start eating my points up. Or I could stalk up on stuff... idk.

11/14-11/17

  • loll11

My friends from back home are much different than my friends here.
Maybe it's because I've known my friends from home way longer, maybe it's because I feel like I'm a different person here than I was several months ago, or maybe it's something else.
The one thing that I haven't been able to have with my friends here that I ALWAYS and very easily have with my friends from home is a laugh sesh. Like a hardy, intense, almost pee in your pants laugh sesh.
Don't get me wrong, I've laughed plenty here in Malibu, but not the kind I have with my friends from home.
This weekend I laughed pretty hard with Bre. It was just us, but it was good. It felt good. It was better than any Pepperdine sesh. Then tonight I was skyping with Rebecca and we laughed pretty hard too. Again, just the two of us, but it was plenty. It felt right.
Those laugh sesh's might be one of my favourite things in the world. No, they ARE one of my favourite things in the world.

My dad doesn't understand me. At all.
He gets me so upset to the point where I start to cry.
I'm trying to tell him something, but he takes it the wrong way or he gets the wrong idea, and he goes off. And then he tells me that I need to start listening to him and take his advice. It's a little hard to do when he doesn't listen to me!

Swing dancing was extremely random last night, but it was totally fun For sure.
And the drive up to SLO was way fun. No traffic whatsoever and I was able to sing as loud as I wanted. I got a little lost, but CHACHA helped me on my way. I went to my first college football game, which the Mustangs won, and that was pretty cool too. SLO is waaaay different than Pdine, but it's nice to experience where my friends are.

They're sitting on the shelf, and I'm kind of hungry right now, so they look really good. But I'm going to resist. I should eat real food.

11/6-11/19

  • too short

    Today was too short.
I woke up a little late this morning, around 9, and rushed to get ready for mass at 10:30. I made it and rode with Laura. It was nice having someone to go with cuz normally I just take the shuttle with people I don't know.
After we got back from mass I had some lunch then pretty much just crashed til 4. I guess I was out pretty cold because Katy came back and I didn't know until I woke up. And she said I was talking. I haven't talked in my sleep in forever.
Afterwards I did some reading and watched Kath & Kim. After I got back from dinner with Katy and Amber I did some more reading and hung out with Sarah. At 10, Sarah, Krystal, and I went to have tea and listen to poetry and short stories down at Sigma. When we got back we surprised Ceeley for her birthday and brought out a cake from Mal Yo. That suite is pretty funny. And everybody seems to get along and hang out. Our suite is kind of like that, but not really. Whatev.
Hopefully I won't wake myself up coughing again like I did last night. That wasn't very fun =[

Woke up early this morning to leave at 9.
Left at 9 and got home a little before 10.
Found my mom and said hi.
    Picked Lauralyn up around 11.
We went to lunch and had a nice little convo.
    Dropped her off around 12:30.
Went to my dad's house and stayed there for a while.
Went to the movies with Eden at 3:30.
We saw Role Models and was surprised at how good it was.
    Took Eden home.
Went to my grandparent's house for a little bit.
Chatted with the g-units and my uncle.
    Left for school.
    Got stuck in traffic.
Went to Macy's to finally get that jacket.
    Left for school again.
    Got to school.
    Chillaxed for a while.
Went over to Phillips for the first time.
Watched Superbad with Carl and Harrison.
Watched SNL with Carl and Harrison.
    Came back to Hayes.
    So yeah.

According to Katy, going to a club in Hollywood makes us big kids.
We went to club DV8 tonight.
We: Me, Katy, Amber, Two of Amber's friends, and two guys that Katy and Amber know.
I heard that DV8 was whack, and it kind of was, but it was okay for going out for the first time, not counting Barcelona. And the guys we went with were really good about making sure we were okay and keeping the weird creeps away from us. Katy and I had our work cut out, but we managed to stay creep free.
It was really fun. I'm glad I went.

    I've decided.
Philip and I aren't going to be BGF's. He's too needy. I can't provide for what he wants or needs.
I am going to be 135 or a size 5 by my birthday. I'll take either.
