Fail 2

I forgot to post last night.

I didn't go to bed until 5, and by that time I was soooo over everything.

I didn't make it 2 years.

I think I'm dunzo unless I really feel the need to post something, which probably won't happen.

Innuedos

I actually slept really nicely last night. I didn't sleep in too late, but it was later than I've been waking up, so that was good.

After I was all set to go and Erin was done doing all of her stuff, we set out for the beach. I was planning on going to Free Zuma, but she suggested we go to Ralphs Beach. I had never been there for the actual beach, so I gladly obliged. For a while it was just me and Erin and some weirdos who decided to set up a fort, but by the time we left, close to 1, it was pretty crowded. It was the perfect day for the beach too. It was too hot, but it was just hot enough where we needed to take a few breaks and get in the water. And the water wasn't too cold either, especially after we got over the initial shock of it.

I think we were back in Towers by 1 and I had planned on eating and the going to class, but plans changed. Laura left for work, so that meant Erin would be alone again, so I decided not to go to class. I went and picked up my boardshorts instead and did a few productive things. I just can't miss class again. I can't afford to miss class again. But spending time with Erin is totally better than going to class.

We spent the rest of the afternoon just hanging out and talking, and then once Katy got back from class we spent more time with us hanging out and talking. Laura was at work until forever, which sucked for everyone, and then once she got home, both she and Erin were on the phone. If I hadn't seen Katy in 4 months and I knew I wasn't going to see her for almost a year, I sure as hell wouldn't be talking to somebody else or not even around for most of the time. Fail. I'm kind of disappointed in Laura about this whole weekend, starting with Friday.

After Laura and Erin's CVS run, all 5 of us, including Kellie made a second In-N-Out run for Erin. It was pretty fun and plenty of innuendos were made. Awesome. After In-N-Out, Katy and Laura went to go talk to their boys and Erin and I got to talk some more and went out on a mini adventure. Laura doesn't want to drive tomorrow, so I volunteered, but that meant emptying out my trunk. Erin went to help me, but before we could get out of Towers, we got to watch DG lip sync to Mandy Moore, which was a little awkward. We laughed on the way to and from the car and then busted up trying to get back into our rooms.

I almost applied for BA. Erin and I would have so much fun together. But I know she'll have a great time this year and she'll make new friends. We'll be living together in our awesome house next year and we can have more fun together.

boi toi

So I ended up sleeping in Laura's room last night on the floor. It was surprisingly comfortable and I think I fell asleep relatively fast. Unfortunately, I woke up earlier than I had planned and I couldn't fall back asleep. But I guess it kind of worked out well in the end.

I got up maybe around 7:20ish, showered and was out the door around 8. Erin was still asleep in Laura's bed, Katy was still asleep in our room as far as I knew, and Laura wasn't back from her night with Newport. I had 2 hours until I had to pick Daniel up, so I stopped at CVS to get better allergy medicine and then I was on my way. I made really good time since there was pretty much no traffic and figured I might as well go get my car washed since it was filthy. After my car was all pretty and the gas tank was full, I picked Daniel up and we were off.

We made really good time back to school too. It was a little traffic-y on PCH, but that isn't out of the ordinary. After Laura and Erin were ready, all 5 of us went down to the caf for lunch. We pretty much just spent the rest of the day watching stuff online and being silly with each other. Finally around 7:30 we got the idea to go to dinner, so the 5 of us plus Isabela piled into Katy's car and made out way to BJs. The last time I went might have been with my dad, Jen, and Emme back in February. Oh. Nevermind. I went to lunch with my grandma at the one in Montebello this summer.

After dinner Daniel's parents came and got him and then I had to face Laura, Erin, and Katy. They like him. I just don't know.

Keebler

I'm still stuffy. I'm going to be fine when I wake up though. I have to.

Today was fun. I spent a lot of time with Erin, which was wonderful since I've missed her sooooo much. After we all woke up and got ready, Erin, Laura, and I went down to the caf for some waffles. We were probably down there a good two hours since we were chatting with Derek and John after we were done eating. From the caf we went to Laura's room since Chris and Katy were in our room and we didn't want to interrupt anything. Laura modeled for me and Erin, we laughed, and then Laura took off.

After debating about what to do and finding the boys bathroom, we had a really good chat about things. It wasn't too deep of a convo, but I felt that I probably would not have tlaked to her like that last year. Then we finally settled on going to dinner and a movie. We went to Islands in Agoura, but had a good hour before the movie, so we just drove around and explored. We ended up seeing Paper Heart, which was cute, quirky, and funny, but it wasn't my favorite. But I think Erin enjoyed it so that was good. We got back not too long ago and we are both tired. I need to get some sleep since I'm not feeling so hot, so I think I'm going to sleep in Laura and Erin's room with Erin on the floor so Chris and Katy can chill in here til 1 or whenever.

I need to get up early.

Food

I haven't been eating enough since I've been here. It's a problem. Not eating enough in combo with not sleeping enough has got my immune system down, and now I have a runny nose.

I went to bed last night with a little bit of a sore throat, but I didn't think much of it. Well, it was worse this morning. By the time I got ready for work, I had a good 45 minutes to kill, so I went to Starbucks. I probably should've went to the vitamin store to get some Coldcalm, and I definitely thought about it, but I didn't. I went to work instead.

I only worked until 11, which was perfect because we were done at 11, and then I drove up to Towers to pick Katy up. Erin's flight landed waaaay early, so I was freaking out a little bit and I felt bad, but I think we made okay time getting to LAX. Laura was super surprised when Erin showed up in her room. It was cute.

After catching up for a few minutes, we all went down to the caf to grab some lunch. It felt like Erin had been with us all week and like we had never been separated for 4 months. When we got back we spent even more time catching up, but I was super tired and ended up kind of falling asleep. I don't think I actually fell asleep, but I was almost there.

By the time I was up, I was hungry and needed food. We all got ready and headed out to Westwood for In-N-Out and Diddy Riese. By this time I was all congested and didn't feel so hot, so I wasn't all that excited about being out. But that's okay. We got back maybe a little over an hour ago and I still felt crappy so I got in the shower thinking it would decongest me, but it didn't.

I'll be fine tomorrow. I'm hopped up on drugs and I'll be 100% when I wake up in the morning.

shot

I should've known today wasn't going to go as planned.

Katy and I woke up early for chapel and made our way down there only to find that celebration chapel doesn't start until next Friday. I could've slept in. Since we were already down there, we went into the caf for breakfast. Unfortunately, all the breakfast stations closed as we were in line, so we ended up with scones. Scones are fine, but I wanted more.

After breakfast I went back up to the room and spent a good 2 hours on Spanish homework, none of which was collected today. But that's okay. It's done. And Spanish went surprisingly well. I spoke up again in class and we even sang a song at the end of class.

The afternoon was going well until I asked Katy what time she wanted to leave to go see Legally Blonde. Stupid move. Laura was in our room talking to us, and then she asked what we were doing tonight, and then she got mad that I didn't buy her a ticket, so then we spent idk how long trying to get her a ticket. Then she wanted to leave ASAP, which I was not prepared for, so that sucked. I was upset about our plans changing and I was upset that I had to rush getting ready, but I sucked it up and didn't say anything. We left in separate cars, which ended up to be a good thing. I forgot the tickets. Luckily we weren't too far down PCH and were able to swing back around to pick them up. We made good time and got to LA maybe about 15 minutes after Laura. We ate at some sketch pizza place and then made our way back to the Pantages. I really enjoyed the show, but I just wish I was in a better mood.

After we got back I changed and then went down to the fountain and talked to Daniel for a bit. I spilled, which I normally don't do, so I feel a little better, but I'm still kind of in a pissy mood. It might be because I've been working hard this week and haven't gotten a whole lot of sleep. And I should be asleep right now since I have to wake up in the morning, but I'm not.

So I guess I made my first major fuck up today by not getting Laura a ticket. I was more mad at myself than at anything else, which is normally the case. I always seem to ruin things.

Fireflies

I've never seen them, but I like the song.

Thankfully, my alarm went off this morning and I was able to get up and get ready on time for class. I was happy to see the biscuit sandwich sign in the caf, but the station was closed, so that was kind of a bummer. I ended up getting oatmeal instead, which doesn't even compare.

I was pretty much falling asleep the entire time in HUM, except for the few minutes after I saw Gus. I love him. After class, I walked back up to Towers with Laura so she could get her pink mail slip and so I could get some sunglasses, but I changed my mind once we got back since I didn't want to risk waking Katy up. I was fine without sunglasses, so it wasn't a big deal at all. REL was super boring, but at least I got an A on my quiz. After REL I went and bought my workbook for Roggero's and some other mini books that will hopefully help. I probably should've done a little bit of homework for Roggero before MUS, but I didn't. I enjoyed MUS today, but Pullen got a little weird towards the end of class.

Since I had time, I should've taken the shuttle up to the SAC, but I walked. I walked up the hill to Towers, and then I walked up all of those stairs to the CCB, and then I walked up the other hill to get to the SAC. Not fun. I had plenty of time to cool off, so that was fine guess. Spanish wasn't too horrible today, so hopefully it'll just keep getting better. I wish I didn't have to go tomorrow, making my day completely free, but that's not the case. And I have lots to do for that class tomorrow.

I had a little bit of a break before I had to go to work, but because the internet connection in terrible in Towers, I wasn't able to e-mail the people I wanted to or check what I wanted to.

Work was difficult and hot, but it was fun. I met some new people and I learned a lot of new things, so that was really nice. I think I'm really going to like this job. And it worked out perfectly at the end because some girl needed to change her shift for Saturday, and I needed to change my shift for Saturday, and it just worked out. Nice.

I got back maybe around 9:15ish and was completely exhausted. I've been up since 6:30 and should probably be asleep by now, but that's okay. I just have 1 class tomorrow. Just one. And then it's the weekend.

french dip

I've been sorta waking up on my own this week, which is not normal, but good I guess. I think it's partly because I know I'm supposed to wake up, partly because it's hot, and partly because I can hear stuff outside my window. But this morning was no exception.

I wasn't the first one up, but I was the first one ready and out the door. I had an athletic staff meeting this morning before convo, so I needed to be down there early. The meeting was pretty basic and went well, as did convo. I drove down to the Fieldhouse for my meeting, so after convo I drove Katy and I back up. I found a nice spot in Towers, but it was a pain to back out of when we left for our adventure for the day.

As of last night, we didn't really have any plans, but I was thinking and I got the bright idea of going to Phillippes. Success. I got turned around for a second towards the exit, like always, but we made it. It's weird that I can eat so much at home, but when I'm at school, I can get full really easily. I guess that's good though. I don't remember what time we got back, but it was at a decent hour.

I read for HUM and semi-dozed off for a few minutes, and then made my way to BA. It's been going over my head, but I think once I start reading, I'll get the hang of it. After class I went down to the library to get some DVD that I'm supposed to watch for Spanish, but they said they didn't have it. I guess Roggero's trippin. I then went to MUS which went much better than I expected. I actually had fun and I think it's going to be better this year. After MUS I went to the bookstore to get my Spanish workbook, but I was 1 minute too late. I'll just have to get it in the morning, which is totally fine.

I didn't really do much after MUS until around 9 when I went for a run. I am uber out of shape, but I'm going to fix it. I've set my goals and I'm going to reach them. The rest of my night has consisted of showering, talking to Laura, and reading for REL. Fun.

Tomorrow's going to be even more brutal than Monday.

solo

I just had one class today, which was nice, but kind of boring.

I thought about going to the beach, but when I woke up this morning, it was kind of cloudy out. Not good beach weather. I didn't do much of anything before class at 2, but I'm sure as the semester goes on, I'll be busy with other stuff. At around 1:30ish Katy and I went to go check our mail and then I made my way up to Spanish. After class yesterday, I thought today was going to be even worse, but it was actually manageable. Still extremely difficult, but manageable. I pretty much just talked to this guy Peter the whole time.

After class I went back up to the room and tried to use my computer, but was failing most of the time. I don't know if it's because we're far away or there's lots of people here, but the wifi sucks. One minute it'll be super strong, but the majority of the time I only have 2 bars and the web pages don't ever show up. That's okay though. I'm sure it'll come in handy when I actually have stuff to do and read. I was able to watch last night's Secret Life though, so that was good.

Around 7, Laura, Katy, and I went down to the caf for dinner. It seems like all these La Serna people are coming out of the woodwork. There's some guy from LSHS in my Spanish class, I know Timari goes here, and then I saw this guy Nathan down at the caf. Weird.

The rest of my night has pretty much consisted of putzing around online. And now this guy that I went to high school with, Josh, is IMing me on Myspace and flirting his little heart out. Oh Josh.

Late night snackin'

Today was brutal. For sure.

I set my alarm for 6:30, but it didn't go off. Somehow I woke up at 6:43 and was ready in time for class. Elkins was really nice and was what I always pictured when I thought of a college classroom. We got out early so Laura, Kellie and I tried to find stuff to do. REL in JPA was boring, but that class was nice too. Again, we got out early, so I had to kill time by wandering around. I think I'm really going to like MUS and Pullen seems like a really good professor. Now I had an hour to kill, which was the longest hour of my life. No, not really. But it still seemed like forever. I wish it really was forever because SPAN sucked. That class is totally going to rape me. I am sooo rusty on my Spanish and my prof only speaks Spanish. IP really screwed me up. I could be in Katy's class with the prof that speaks English, but no. I had another hour to kill before BA, so I went to to check my mail and then took the shuttle back up. BA sounds kind of hard, but the professor is handsome and he seems like he's really passionate about teaching, so it should work out.

I was tired and hungry when I got back from my uber long day, so I was not the happiest camper. I decided to go on a run at 8 and that kind of perked me up a bit. Unfortunately, I had a shit load of Spanish to do, so that pretty much ruined my night. But that's okay.

I think this semester is going to be pretty rough, but I know I can handle it. I will have no life, but I'll handle it.

And I made my mind up.

CCCLLLOOOMMMMMMMMM!

I was doing sooo well with the whole chest pain thing, but it's back. There were a few days in a row where I was totally fine. I just have to wait until November to figure it out I guess. No good. I'm a very impatient person.

I can't really remember what I did between waking up and going to Target besides that I showered. I think I ate some cereal, but that's about it. I think maybe around 2:30 Katy and I went to go put gas in my car and then we went out for a Target run to get some things that we needed around our room and the bathroom. After we got back from Target we hooked up that bathroom with the new handy dandy shower curtain and I finished printing off papers for MUS 280.

Yeah, my chest ain't feeling so hot right now =/ Like really.

Then Daniel came over and chit chatted with all of us for a bit, and then I think I spent a huge chunk of time trying to get my internet to work. It was failing miserably. I think it's because there are so many people in Towers and we're all on our computers. Or I could be completely wrong.

CLOM was at 9:30, so Katy and I started tossing the counseling center ball around just like we did last year. It made me happy. And it made me even more happy that we're rooming together again. I missed her.

CLOM was boring and a little awkward, but that's okay. Daniel called during CLOM, but I called him back and talked to him on the way to In-N-Out. I probably shouldn't have been talking in the car and talking to everyone else instead, but I hadn't talked to him in a while and he wasn't going to be up much later. In-N-Out was fun, as usual, and I got to know Kellie a little bit better. I would've gotten to know her even better had I not been on the phone, but that's okay. It was past midnight by the time we got home, which is fine I guess, but I'm not looking forward to waking up in the morning.

I'm all showered and now I need to pick out what I'm wearing tomorrow.

Go!!!

Today was gross hot. I don't know what it is about NSO, but it seems like the weather decides to heat up just for the freshies. It was fairly cool all summer, I think I even wrote about it a few days ago, but this week has been ridiculously hot. I feel really bad for my mom, but thank goodness she's had the past two days off and she doesn't work tomorrow.

I missed Katy's pillow fluffing.

The majority of the returning students moved back in today, which was a little crazy and really nice. It's been weird not having people all over the place, so it was really good to see everyone coming back. Kellie and Laura moved in today and it seems like they're getting along well. I haven't really talked to Kellie yet, so I haven't decided how I feel about her yet. I think I'll like her though, just nor nearly as much as Erin. I'm going to miss her terribly, but I'm glad she's coming to visit.

We pretty much spent the whole day in our rooms aside from an outing to the caf and bookstore and then down to the Fieldhouse to watch Frosh Follies. They were so much better than the ones we did last year.

Tomorrow consists of finding where my classes are, a Target run, printing the rest of my stupid MUS 280 stuff, and getting ready for class on Monday. Exciting. I think.

get set

Blogging every day makes me feel like I'm actually accomplish something, but I strongly dislike it sometimes. Sometimes I just don't want to write. And if I decided to just blog every once in a while, I won't blog at all. And I like having the ability to blog about whatever is on my mind.

I only went to the beach for about an hour today. I don't know why, but I just couldn't get myself to stay. That's okay though I guess. I still felt like I got a little bit of a tan. I think I had gone to Ralphs and taken a shower by 1, so I was doing pretty good for the day only being slightly halfway over. I ate a chicken pot pie, went to check my mail, put my parking permit on my car, and then waited for Katy to get here.

She got here maybe around 5, we unloaded her stuff, and then went over to her aunt's for dinner. Real food, not cereal. Wonderful. Once we got back to school, Katy unpacked, I e-mailed my dad some transcripts, and then I put most of my pictures up. There's a lot of them, and I don't really know if I like how I put them. I think I do. Katy's still putting hers up and Isabela's keeping us company.

Everyone else starts coming back tomorrow.

On your mark

To my surprise, I was not woken up by the sound of maintenance workers this morning. It was nice.

I ate and got ready, and I think I made it to the beach by 10:10. It was already super hot by the time I got there, so there was no way I could stay for 3 hours like I did yesterday. I think I ended up leaving around 12:45. So almost 3 hours.

Once I got back I showered and chillaxed until 4:20 when Laura came and picked me up. I don't think we've ever hung out with just the two of us outside of Hayes, so it was nice. We found the movie theatre, went in search of food, found food at Jack in the Box, and then made it back to the theatre in time to see 500 Days of Summer. I made the mistake of trying something new, and I didn't like it. But the movie more than made up for it. It was kind of sad, but I really enjoyed it. I wanted to know more about Summer though, and who she ended up with. I'm glad I didn't end up seeing it with Daniel. That would've been kind of awkward. I'm still iffy about that boy.

I chillaxed for a little bit once we got back, bet then I went over to Target to pick up a few things. I rushed over there thinking it closed at 9, but it closed at 10, so I was okay. The rest of my night was taken up with rescheduling my life. There isn't a London Religion program next year, so that screwed up this semester's schedule and my 4 year plan. I fixed it though. But now it's looking more like a four and a half year plan, which is totally fine.

Montag

I'm too tired to be writing this.

I woke up to the sound of men laughing, singing, and speaking Spanish. That's okay. I forgive them.

I got up and got ready for the beach and I was there by 10:30. I think I should've went to convo though. I was at the beach until 1, and I think I got there at a perfect time because it was packed by the time I left. I needed to mail Erin's birthday card, so I made a pit stop at the post office before I got back to school.

I showered and was already exhausted from my pretty relaxing day. I would've felt like I cheated if I took a nap, so I forced myself to stay awake. I had Pepp Band rehearsal at 6 until around 7, which went well except for the fact that my chops are extremely rusty, and then we needed to be back by 8:30. The freshie thing was running a little behind, so instead of going on at 10 we went on around a quarter after, but we were done fairly quickly. I was planning on going back up with Kelsey, since she lives right across from me, but I walked back with Jason instead. He told me about some cool spots on campus and then he took me to this one room that was full of mattresses. We spent maybe about ten minutes just jumping around. It was awesome. By the time I got back to my room it was a little after 11 and I didn't really feel like running, but I needed to. So I did. And now I'm super exhausted.

Beach tomorrow. Maybe movies with F-Bomb.

dial

It's stupid how tired and dehydrated I am.

I was planning on waking up around 9, but I was able to wake up around 8 with the help of the maintenance workers. Everything that happens in the parking lot can be heard from our room, so I heard lots of men speaking Spanish, the beeping of trucks backing out of the parking spots, and lots of doors slamming. That's okay though. I needed to get up anyway.

I finished putting everything away, ate, and then went to go visit Isabela after she was all moved in and not so overwhelmed. She needed to take a language placement exam, and trying to be helpful, I volunteered to take her. Unfortunately, I got mixed up and took her to the opposite side of the world from where she needed to be. I felt sooo bad, but we were able to get there almost on time.

I spent the rest of the day just chillin in the room with the exception of a brief outing to Ralphs where I managed to forgot one of the key things I wanted. I'm sure I can get it in the bookstore.

Beach tomorrow. I can still hear screaming. Poor freshies. I bet they're exhausted.

Chautauqua

I shouldn't have pressed the snooze button as many times as I did. 1 less time would've made all the difference.

Even though my dad just had to put air in my tires as I was about to go to breakfast, I still made it in a decent amount of time. I think I was like 5 minutes late. Bre and I both decided to get the Sunrise combo, which consisted of a fruit filled crepe, hashbrowns, eggs, sausage, and bacon. All for $5.99! Awesome choice. After our delicious breakfast and hilarious breakfast convo, we stood outside for about half an hour talking and laughing.

I went back to my dad's after breakfast, got the rest of my stuff, and then left for the bank to deposit a check. I think I was really on the road by 11:15 and got to PCH around 11:50. Right before the tunnel before you get on to PCH, I could tell there was traffic. And it was definitely traffic. Apparently there was an accident somewhere on PCH, so they closed it and made everyone take a detour. They had us turn onto Chautauqua which eventually turned back into PCH. I thought I'd be at school around 12:30, but it took me until around 1:30.

I checked in, unloaded my car, unpacked, and then waited for my dad and my sister. I think they showed up around 3 with all the big stuff that couldn't fit into my car. After all of that was unloaded, we drove down to the bookstore so Emme could get some shirts and then we went to Coogies for dinner. They dropped me off and left around 6, and then Daniel showed up a little bit later. He helped me put some stuff away, ran down the halls, and then that was pretty much it. It was kind of a random visit that wasn't necessarily wanted, but thats okay.

I spent most of the evening just putting things away and rearranging the room, which has been quite tiring. I had to move my car, so as I was on my way back, I figured I would give Laura a call and see if she was around. She was, so I stopped in for about an hour and got filled in on her life and she got filled in on mine. I'm going to miss seeing her everyday and having her drop in every night before bed.

eleven

Tim's status was something about taking it to 11, but I don't know what that means. I don't know if I want to know what that means. I'll look it up on urban dictionary when I'm done posting...

Today was my dad's birthday. I woke up at 10:30, despite my inability to fall asleep, and I showered and was ready to go by noon. We were going to go to some shabu place in West Covina, but it looked sketch and Emme and I weren't feeling it, so we all went to Edward's instead. I guess Emme was tired or something because she kind of started acting up towards the end and didn't get much better.

Between lunch/dinner and mass, my dad opened his presents and then we all just did whatever. Tonight was the LifeTeen mass, so there was lots of hand clapping on the offbeats (which I find so hilarious) and lots of teenyboppers. I saw Amanda, a few other people I recognized from Cal, Paul and Carrie, Uncle Vic, Tania, and Rebecca and Jessica. Tania, Rebecca, and Jessica didn't see me until the end, which was totally fine with me. I thought about inviting Rebecca to breakfast this morning, but decided against it. But it works out since she has work at 8 tomorrow. She said something about stopping by tomorrow morning, but she won't. We aren't doing a goodbye this year. There really isn't a need.

After mass, I went to go pick up my pictures from Walgreens, went to go pick up my ADV book from my grandparents' house, and then went to go say bye to my mom. She didn't cry in front of me, but she seemed sad and I'm sure as soon as I walked out the door she started to cry. I'll miss her, but it's not like we don't talk or anything.

When I got back to my dad's, I was finally able to connect to his wifi, I uploaded my pictures, we loaded up the Pilot, I hung out with my sister, and now everyone's in bed.

Big day tomorrow.

**10:50 PM

Rico woke me up this morning with his complaints about all the boxes in my room. I’m not sure what time it was, but it was still dark out. Then my mom came in to wake me up and say goodbye before she went to work. I was out of it, so I don’t really remember what happened. But I have to go back home tomorrow for a sec because I forgot a few things, so I can give her a proper goodbye tomorrow.

I got out of bed around 10:30, got ready, and then went to the Montebello mall in search of board shorts and polo shirts. No luck. Then I stopped by Walmart to get some socks. I hate that store. I was home around 1:15ish and loaded up my car. I played with Diva for a bit in the backyard, and then said goodbye to both her and Rico. I didn’t really say goodbye to them last year and Rico was nowhere to be found the morning I left. At least I get to say bye again tomorrow.

From home I went to my grandparents’ house and hung out with them until it was time to get to my dad’s. I took some pictures, ate some watermelon, laughed with my uncle, got my nails done, and then went to my dad’s. As soon as I got to his house we went to Pacific Sales where my dad spent forever talking to the sales rep. We finally left a little after 6 and went to Shabu.

After Shabu we swung by the house for a few minutes, went to Albertsons, went to Red Oak BBQ to pick up my dad’s credit that he forgot there last night, went to some random party of one of Jen’s co-workers, and then Walgreens to drop off my film. The photo guy was trying to be all cute and asking me a whole bunch of questions, but I wasn’t feeling it.

I’ve spent the rest of my evening playing speed with my sister, and now I think it’s time for bed. Early, I know.

promo

Never again will I fill out a promotional sweepstakes thingy.

I got three confusing phone calls from some magazine publishing place or something like that this morning. My debit card was charged 50 bucks, and I'm hoping it gets refunded because I asked them to undo whatever the hell they did. So I was pretty flustered.

My hair appointment went great. Nicole cut a little more length than I was planning on cutting, but she left my bangs long, and I look good, so it works.

After my haircut I swung over to the mall to look for a beach towel, a pork pie hat, white sneakers, and boardshorts. No luck. Then I went to Target to get an extra towel. From Target I went to Sports Authority, but I didn't have any luck there either. I then went to deposit money into my account, and then I went to my grandparents' house.

I ate, tried clothes on, watched TV, loaded my car, and then I was off. I spent most of my evening packing, which was very overwhelming, and I think I packed to much, but I'm done. I just need to load my car and we're golden.

I don't know when I'm going to see my mom again after tonight. I'm not coming back home before I leave.

laundry

I meant to go to bed at midnight. Whoops.

I woke up at noon, just shortly before my mother, but couldn't get out of bed until close to one because Rico was on me. As soon as he left, I got in the shower, only to have Rico waiting for me when I got out, along with a wonderful breakfast/lunch.

I spent most of the afternoon finishing up Speed Racer and Flapjack, both of which turned out well, and sorting a huge amount of laundry. Since our dryer is about 40 years old and started eating things, I took all of my clothes to my grandparents' house to have their 20 year old washer and dryer do the job. I don't know how many loads we got through tonight, but we didn't finish.

gus gus

My mom just got home.

I don't really feel like writing tonight. I just have like a month left and that'll make 2 years.

I didn't fall asleep until super early this morning, so I ended up sleeping in until noon. I need to get on a regular schedule considering I'll have 2, maybe 3, 8AMs incredibly soon. I think I ended up leaving the house around 2:30, headed for the bank, and then went to Daniel's house.

We were supposed to go to Golf N Stuff, but that didn't happen. Jacob called and invited us over for some board games, so Daniel said we'd just stop by for a little bit. We played Taboo, which was fun, a Disney Trivia game, ate pizza, I watched all of them play Twister, and then we finished the night with Pictionary Man. It was not how I wanted my last day with Daniel to go, but it wasn't terrible.

I went to go drop Daniel off at his house around 9, but he said he had something for me, so I didn't leave right away like I normally do. He brought out a bouquet of gerber daisies and walked me to my car. We said our goodbyes, but Daniel said he wanted to talk, so we drove over to Cal and talked until around 11.

It was the most intensely deep conversation I have ever had in my life. He talked about all of his feelings towards me, and everything he said was super sweet and cheesy, and it was everything a girl would ever want to hear. But then I let him know that I keep going back and forth about him, and so we got into all of that. That was the difficult part because I needed to tell him exactly how I felt and why I felt that way. We talked about some other equally deep things and said some more goodbyes, and then finally departed.

I've just been chillaxing at home, trying to find food with no luck, and now I think I should probably try and get some sleep.

singles

I almost forgot to post.

I woke up at 11 and figured since I haven't laid out in a while, I would do that today. Unfortunately, it was sunny, but not very warm. I swear, this summer hasn't been as hot as summer's normally are. I think we've broken 100 just a handful of times when normally there's a good solid chunk of days where it's sweltering. It's been hot, but not as hot as I've been expecting it to be.

I didn't really do much of anything before 5. Katy and I had a Skype sesh for about an hour and caught up on a few things since we hadn't spoken since I left. Once her power was running low and it was about time for me to get ready for dinner, we parted ways.

Tonight's dinner was set up in hopes of seeing Jordan Blackburn. I would say that the trip was all for not, but it was actually quite pleasant. I always have a great time with Bre and Tania, and seeing Shaun tonight was really nice too. He only charged us for our meals and not all the extra stuff, so that was incredibly nice of him. I wish we could've hung out some time this summer, but oh well.

After dinner I came home and started working on my Munnys again. I finished my dad's and I'm almost done with mine. I just need to do Flapjack's face, and seal both of them, and we're golden.

Tomorrow Daniel and I are going to Golf n Stuff and he wants to go to dinner, and then I don't know what else. I think we're saying our goodbyes tomorrow, but maybe not...

vintage

Today was quite productive.

I woke up at a decent time and got ready for my day. I think I was out of the house by 12:45 and I was at the mall by 1.

I got 2 pairs of jeans at Macys, got a bathing suit at PacSun, and looked around for a pair of white kicks. I found a few that I liked, but I didn't feel like spending 60 bucks on shoes. I'm not that desperate. On my way home I stopped by Target and spent what seemed like forever perusing the isles, grabbing whatever I needed.

I am all set for school with the exception of a beach towel, white sneakers, a pork pie hat, and a cover for my laptop.

I was expecting to spend the rest of the evening at home, but my uncle needed more help, so my mom and I went over to my grandparents' house for dinner. After we got home I sat down and started working on my Munnys. I got a lot done tonight, but I still have a ways to go.

sundae

I was happy with the way today turned out.

After a quick pit stop at some warehouse place, we made it to my grandparents' house and promptly started to get our grub on. My grandma made tamales, taquitos, rice, beans, and... I don't remember what else. Everyone was all happy eating and laughing, so it was cute. When we had all chillaxed for a bit and my mom had opened her presents, we all sat down and had cake and ice cream sundaes. The sundaes were simple, but they were really good.

There was some more chillaxing and the my mom and I were off to go run some errands. We went to some shoe store to try to find me some white sneakers, with no luck, then we went to Big 5 to try to find my mom some work boots, with no luck, and then we went to Michael's to get some paint, which was successful.

My uncle's interviewing with KFWB this week and had some questions for me, so I answered as best I could, but I went over to my dad's to get my advertising book so maybe my uncle could use it. After the quick little stop at my dad's, my mom and I went back to that warehouse to pick up some chairs, 4 for 10 bucks each, bargain, and then went back to my grandparents' house to drop the book off.

I was out of it by the time we got home, so I crashed until 10. Shortly after waking up, Daniel called, and we talked til around 11:30. I've just been sitting around since then, but I should probably get to bed soon.

mixer

I always forget what titles I've used. I was going to use "expectations," but apparently I already used that one.

Today actually went pretty well.

I pretty much just chillaxed until 2 and then the fun started.

There was a little ichat drama in the beginning, but we eventually figured it out and Laura, Erin, and I were finally able to chat. I miss them a lot. Especially Erin since I haven't seen her or talked to her allllll summer. I really hope she's able to come visit before she goes to BA.

The rest of my day was filled with Munny prep and movies.

I watched Be Kind Rewind, which wasn't as good as I was hoping, and I just finished Juno. It makes me cry every time I watch it. It makes me want a Paulie Bleeker. But I'm scared of that.

compound

I don't know when I'll be home or how I'll feel when I get home, so I'm posting now.

I woke up at a decent time again, got ready, and then I was off.

I went to Tilly's to buy some V-necks and then made my way over to Sam Ash to get a tambourine for my mom. I don't know why she wants one, but she does. After Sam Ash I got gas and then went over to my grandparents' house to help my uncle with presentation stuff. He was around, so I ate lunch and waited for him. I didn't need to show him too much, but I think what I did show him was helpful. I don't know. After dinner and an episode of Top Chef Masters, I came home.

Surprisingly, tonight is still on. I had a little drama trying to figure out what to wear, but I think I'm good. Now I need to finish getting ready and then head over to Rebecca's house. I think other people are coming, which is cool I guess, but I was hoping for it to be just us. But maybe it's better this way. Or not. Whatever. Tonight better be good.

**1:51 AM

Lame.
Waited at Rebecca's door for about 5 minutes.
Picked up Elena.
Picked up Tania.
Waited for Bre.
Drove to Uptown.
Sat in the car so Rebecca could do her makeup.
Hung out at Coffee Bean with Mike Hernandez.
Drove aimlessly.
Got to a party right as it got raided.
Drove aimlessly.
Dropped everyone off.
And now I'm home.

Rebecca isn't a good driver.
I shouldn't have gotten all dolled up for tonight.
I doubt I'll see her again before I go to school, and I'm actually okay with that.

shield

I actually woke up this morning. I think I woke up at 9:10 or some time close to that. I got ready, figured out where I was going and then picked Daniel up.

I got a little turned around right when we go to Belmont Shores, but I figured it out real quick and got a really good parking spot. It was kind of muggy and a smidge chilly, but the beach was still nice. It was warm enough, but not warm enough to get in the water and I don't think it was sunny enough to get a tan. Regardless, it was still really nice. Daniel spent most of the time flying his kite and even let me get a few turns. I think we left close to 3, stopped by In-N-Out, and then went to his house.

We scrapped the music video idea, took a few pictures, and then watched some tv. I noticed there were gerber daisies on his coffee table, but I didn't say anything. I'd like to think they were for me considering he recently asked what my favorite flower was, but idk. I left at 6 so I would have enough time to get ready if Rebecca was still able to go out, but it was all for not.

Plans were cancelled. I should have known. She suggested we go out tomorrow night, which would be nice, but she'll probably cancel again. Whatev.

whisper

I guess I do it too, but not to the extent as my mom does. When my mom has a new favorite song, she listens to it over and over again, trying to learn all the words. Her current favorite: Click Click Flash - Ciara. It's a good song, but I'm kind of sick of it. For the past several nights, she's been listening to it on her i-Pod, singing it over and over again. Only it isn't really singing. It's like a loud whisper and it's scares me. It sounds creepy and I wish she would either stop or actually sing.

I woke up late again today. Noon. It's a problem.
My mom had the day off so she made us brunch. French toast.
We sat around for a while and watched a movie. Ferris Buehler's Day Off.
I contemplated what I wanted to do today. Oh so much, but lacked motivation.
I worked on my Munny's. The sculpey's done and ready for baking.
I sorted out the clothes that were MIA. Found lots of good stuff.
Did nothing the rest of the evening.

Daniel and I are going to the beach tomorrow. I don't know which beach and I don't know what the weather's supposed to be like, but it'll work out. And then Rebecca hit me up via Facebook about going clubbing tomorrow. The only club I can think of is the Heist, which I am all for, but I doubt it's gonna go down. And she said she's driving, which I'm not really comfortable with. She just got her license which took her 3 times to pass and I don't know if I trust her on the freeway. I guess I should. I trusted myself. We'll see what happens. If we don't go to a club, I hope we find a party to go to.

shipping

I really want a pork pie hat. Like really want one. I'd probably never wear it, but still.

My day started late, as usual. I don't think I got in the shower until around 1 and I don't think I left to pick up my screens until 2:30. After picking up my screens I went to Walgreens to look for the Slapchop, and thankfully, they had it. I came home to put my screens back on and had intended on going to Sam Ash, but I got side tracked and spent the whole evening watching videos on Hulu.
I don't know what tomorrow has in store, but I hope I'm productive.

classics

I woke up at a decent time this morning and I think I was out by noon. Maybe a smidge after noon.
As soon as I got to my grandparents' house, my grandma and I were already on our way out. Our first stop was In-n-Out, then WalMart, then Target, and then JCPenny. I got a tiny dent out of what I need for school, so I guess it was effective.
I was supposed to go pick up my screens, but I didn't feel like it, so I spent the rest of the day on the computer. I was somewhat productive though. I ordered some stuff for my mom and I ordered my books for school. Hopefully I'll have them by the time classes start.
And that was my day.
Tomorrow consists of screens, Sam Ash, and window screens. Maybe even Micheals.
I need to get out.
I need to go to a party.
I need to chill with Shaun.
I need to make some bad choices before I go back to school.
I've been too good.

lace ups

Waking up early, which wasn't even all that early, messed me up today.

My mom and I ended up getting to my grandparents' house around 10:30ish, right when everyone had just started eating. The other day I had jokingly made a remark to my mom about how we should tell my grandma to make menudo. My mom said she wouldn't, but I said she totally would if I asked her. I didn't even have to ask. It was like she knew that I wanted her to make it. She said I needed to have some before I go off to school. Nice.

After we had gotten over how full we were, my grandma took me and my mom over to Home Depot and bought us some more plants and flowers for the house. I'm really happy with how the front yard is turning out. Now the backyard needs to get done. My mom was thinking about doing a pea gravel patio, but I talked her out of it and I think we're going to do some kind of pavers. She wants to have it done by the 22nd so I can have people over before I go to school, but I seriously doubt that will happen. That was our goal last year, to have people over before I left for school. It didn't happen. I don't think I even want to have my friends over. It's not like I have any anyway. I have like 3. Daniel, Tania, and Bre. That rhymed. I can always do dinner or breakfast with them sometime before I leave. It doesn't need to be a get together at my house that's oh so far away from everyone else.

After Home Depot, my mom and I just hung out and watched TV until maybe around 3 and then went to the place where she gets her uniforms for work since she needed a new shirt. I was looking at the shoes and ended up getting navy lace up vans to replace my navy slip ons that are all torn up inside. I like the look of the lace ups better anyway. I need some new white tennies, and I found some Addidas that I liked, but they didn't fit me right. I guess it wasn't meant to be.

We had King Taco for dinner and I ended up passing out around 8. I missed ABDC, but I'm sure I can catch it some time this week. I woke up at 11:12, lame, and now I'm not sleepy. I should try to force myself to fall asleep since I'll be waking up kinda early but not tomorrow. My grandma wants me to go with her to In-n-Out and Walmart at noon. Sure thing.

feature

I didn't fall asleep until 6 and I woke up at 10:30.
NBD.

I spent the late morning finishing up my roll of film, took it in to get developed, spent the afternoon downloading music, picking up and editing my film, downloading more music, and spent the evening at dinner and Lowes with my mom. I was planning on spending the whole evening cleaning the house with my mom, but as soon as she found out my grandparents weren't coming over tomorrow, cleaning the house was thrown out the window. I really wanted to clean the house. I also really want to go to the fair tomorrow. Mainly to take pictures. I had plenty of opportunities to go, but I'm stubborn and didn't, and now tomorrow is the last day. I don't think I'm going.

I have an early start tomorrow, yeah right, so I should probably shower and try to get some sleep.

broth

I slept way too much today and now it's 3 and I'm not tired. Problem.

I was productive, however.

I went to the window place, I looked for the movie my mom's been wanting (no luck), I went to Borders, I assembled a swing all by myself, and then that's pretty much it.

Tomorrow is going to be intense house clean up day.

undisclosed

I woke up later than I had planned to again. But it wasn't a big deal.

I got ready, went to get my filthy car washed, and then went over to Daniel's. Things got pretty h&h, but there were two buzz kills. His nephew is back in the hospital because of an infection, but he should be okay. The second buzz kill was the dtr we had. He wants to be official, but I said no. I still keep going back and forth about it.

Around 4:30 we went up to Michigan Park to try and fly his kite, but it wasn't windy enough. After several sad attempts, we went and visited with Nordquist for a while, which was cute, and then I dropped Daniel off.

I went to dinner at the G-Units' and then spent the evening gallivanting around with my mom.

Tomorrow needs to be a productive day.

estrella

I really need to get out of the house and do something productive. I am spending way too much time at home, sitting in front of the computer. And then I sleep in well into the morning, and I stay up well after midnight. It's a problem that I need to fix.

I woke up around 11:30 today and was upset that I missed 11:11. I sat around doing nothing for a while, but then I decided to get dressed. It was a step. I thought about going to get my screens redone, but I ended up at my grandparents' house instead. My grandma had called this morning inviting me over for pancakes, but I was asleep. She called again inviting me over for some KFC, but since I don't like KFC, I suggested I would have leftover pancakes instead. So I ate breakfast/lunch/dinner with the g-units, and later, my mom. I stayed longer than I was expecting to, until around 8:40, and have pretty much done nothing the rest of the evening.

I did doodle, however. I'm doodling on a Munny outline, but it's incredibly detailed and intense, so I probably won't ever actually make one like that. And if I were, I'd have to do an original Munny and not a Mini Munny. Or maybe I could do a Mini Munny...

Daniel and I are supposed to do something tomorrow. What? Idk. And I think he's getting me flowers. He asked me my favorite kind and my favorite colour. Hmm...

After going back and forth on the issue for practically months, I've been stuck on one side for a few days. I'm still super confused though. I wish I could just decide what exactly it is that I want.

ribs

I awoke to a strange noise outside my window this morning.
"Wha... is it raining?" I thought to myself.
I got out of bed and walked over to the window to check to see if it was, in fact, raining. Sure enough, the floor was almost completely wet and I could see the drops coming down.
"Strange," I thought.
I walked into the living room to find my mother just as confused as I was. Unfortunately, it was short lived. About 10 minutes later, it stopped, allowing the rest of the day to be warm and sunny.

I spent the rest of my day sorting laundry, drawing, surfing the internet, and going to my grandparents' house for dinner. I wasn't really in the mood to leave the house, but after my mom called me stubborn, I decided to go. I didn't use to think I was stubborn, but I guess I can be in certain situations. I find myself as more of a pushover actually. I hardly ever stand up for myself and I just do what people want me to. Doormat. I don't really mind. As long as I can make them happy, it's worth it I guess.

turnbull

Once again, I woke up later than planned.

Shortly after waking up, I started cleaning my room and the living room. I was actually enjoying it, but the Daniel called and wanted to hang out, so I stopped cleaning, got ready, and hung out with him.

We tried flying his new kite, but it wasn't all that windy, so we we decided to head up to Turnbull. It wasn't nearly as exciting as I thought it would be. After Turnbull we headed to his house and tried to come up with some choreography for our video. It was a good start, but we aren't very close to finishing it.

The rest of my night has been uneventful.

hot shoe

Last night, Tania, Bre, and I were talking about how we wanted to/should go to the Colbie Caillat concert coming up. Being the rash person that I am, I bought tickets last night. I should've waited, but I didn't. I bought one for me, one for Katy, and one for Laura, thinking it would be cute if we all came down for the concert. Unfortunately, Katy and Laura have class the night of the concert, so there I was, stuck with two extra tickets. Fortunately, Bre hadn't bought hers yet, so she's taking one, and Laura decided she can skip class, so there went the other one. It worked out I guess. But that's how my day started.

I sat around doing nothing all day. I should've cleaned my room or something since it looks terrible, but I didn't. I just sat around.

I got the urge to finish my roll of film, so I did, but it didn't work again. I was less upset this go round since they were stupid pictures and I didn't load it. I believe it is now loaded correctly, and ready for action. It will work.

I caught 11:11 tonight.

I should've wished to make up my mind.

strawberry

One of the best nights of my summer.

I sat around all day today and didn't leave the house until around 9:30. I went to pick up Tania and from her house we went to Valu-Mart to pick up some snacks for Bre's house. We made it to Bre's a little after 10, talked for a bit, and then watched Baby Mama. I think Tina Fey and Amy Poehler are hilarious, especially together. After the movie, we just spent hours talking about things and making each other crack up.

My absolute favorite part(s) of high school were the moments that my friends and I would be doubled over, laughing, gasping for breath, and complaining that our stomachs were sore. I laugh at Pepperdine, but I don't laugh like that. That's one of the things I miss most while at school. I miss laughing to the point I have tears streaming down my face. I'm happy to say that the doubling over, crying, gasping for breath kind of laughter happened tonight, and I loved it. Maybe it's just that group that does it for me. Maybe we were just so close and understood how stupid we were?

Tania and I left around 3:30, and I got home around 4. I should really get to bed soon.

regal

My day started later than I had planned, but I don't think I would've done anything earlier than I ended up doing stuff, so it worked out.

I finally left the house around 1:40 and went to Rio to sort out my transcript dealio. Grades are in and everything, but I guess they won't be totally official until this summer session is over, so they aren't going to send my transcript until the 22nd. No problem. I got a print out of it, and I ended up getting all A's. I knew I was going to get A's in my geology classes, but I figured I'd get a B in SOC. I would've been happy with a B, but an A is even better. Now if they only went into my GPA...

From Rio, which took longer than expected, I went to go pick up my sister from school, which also took longer than expected. She was happy to see me, as usual, and from school we went to Jamba Juice. I needed to kill time, so instead of sipping on our smoothies on the way to the movies, we stayed at the Whittwood and just chillaxed for a few. We made it to Regal super early, but there wasn't anything else to do. I wasn't too excited about seeing Aliens in the Attic, but it wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be, and I even found myself laughing at some parts. Unfortunately, right smack dab in the middle of the climax, my sister decides she has to pee. So we missed the climax and part of the ending, but we caught about the last 3 minutes. Great. After the movie my sister wanted to eat at Round Table for dinner, so I humored her. It wasn't that great, but I had a pretzel at the movies, so I got my fill early on. Once we got home we watched some 3D Barbie Pegasus movie. I wanted to fall asleep, but I willed myself not to. Her parental units came home around 9, and I left around 9:40.

I ended up going to the movies again, but with Daniel. We saw Funny People, which was funny, but it was a little too long. Yesterday night he told me, via fbook chat, that he wanted to talk, but we didn't really "talk" tonight. Maybe some other time.

Since it's almost 3 and I've been tired since like 8, I need to go to bed.

speed

I woke up to mariachi music this morning and was not too happy about it. It was partly because it was early for me, 8, and I was hungry. After making myself a peanut butter sandwich, I got ready for my day.

I made it to the post office around 11:45 to send back the laptop case that I got about 2 weeks ago. I think I got out of there around 11:52 and was determined to get to Daniel's at noon like I had said. And I did. 12.

We watched Persepolis (sp), a movie that I had wanted to see, but never did, picked out a song for our video, watched YouTube videos, and then went off to adventure. We returned the movie to the library, went to the flag shop in uptown to look for a kite, and then made it to Toys 'R' Us. After goofing around, we picked out a kite, wandered around, and then found ourselves at Chuck E. Cheese's. Random, but very fun. We took a picture, raced (I won), and then were out of there. My gas tank was almost empty, so I stopped at a gas station to fill up. Daniel offered to do it, so I let him. Mistake. He topped off way too much and ended up spilling. I washed off the gasoline from my car, cleaned up everything else, and then made another pit stop at Boba Loca for some refreshments. Daniel and I finally got to Westminster and went to the art supply store he introduced me to. I stocked up and then we were off. We took the looooong way home, but it was fun.

I think I dropped him off around 8 and then came home where Ive just been sitting around.

fondant

I've never eaten a cake with fondant, but I heard it wasn't all that great. Duff sure makes it look tastey.

Today was a waste. I did absolutely nothing besides sit at the computer all day. I did nothing productive.

I need to wake up early tomorrow, get ready, go to the post office, possibly to Rio, and then to Daniel's.

I think I know what to do about that boy.

savers

i wish this keyboard wasn't so loud.

last night kind of sucked. it was gross hot and my mind was going a million miles per hour. not a good combo.

i woke up around 10:30 and had planned on doing a workout with jillian, but my grandma called and asked if i wanted to go shopping. it beat sticking around home all day, so i agreed, got dressed, and went over to her house.

we had lunch at mimi's, went to sears, cvs, savers, costco, walgreens, rite aid, and stater brothers. i was exhausted by the time we got back home, but dinner was a good pick me up. my mom came by after work and stayed until 7:30, so that was nice. i stayed until 8:30 and then went home.

my evening was filled with paris hilton and 16 and pregnant. and even though its still terribly hot, and im going to try and force myself to fall asleep.

i wish my i-pod worked.

waterbug

Rico and I were just on a hunt for a waterbug, but it disappeared. Great.

Today was uneventful. It was hot. It still is hot.

My mom and I went out to dinner and to Target, and then we watched TV. Fun.

I should've bought a fan.

orphan

Rico woke me up around 8 this morning to cuddle and I think I went back to sleep around 8:30. Ever since I got back home from Washington, he's been ultra lovey. Maybe he knows I'm leaving for school soon. It'll be 4 weeks tomorrow.

I woke up around 11:30, a little too late for my liking, and didn't do much of anything until late into the afternoon. I think I went to go pick up Daniel around 4, but I don't really remember. When I got to Daniel's he suggested we go to a movie, but I had planned on going to look for a kite and then chilling at his house. I headed towards the Regal in La Habra, and then when we were about to turn onto Imperial, Daniel gets all confused because he thought we were going to Toys R Us to look for a kite. Nope. We ended up seeing Orphan, which was surprisingly good. I'm glad that's not the movie we went to go see last night.

Toys R Us had just closed by the time we got there, but we stuck around that shopping center and ate at Panera. We had intended on recording a video for Katy, but their Wi-Fi connection sucked, so we left. We then went to the Starbucks on La Serna in search of Wi-Fi, but it wasn't free, so we bailed. Finally, we ended up at The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf in Uptown. We recorded our video, which didn't turn out as nicely as I would've liked, and then I took him home.

The rest of my evening has been filled with cuddles from Rico and the browsing, which is a weird word, of the internet.

unplanned

I have recently found out that another one of my high school/middle school classmates is preggers. Geez.

Today was a little on the random side. I have no clue when my mom came in last night, but it was after 3, and she was already at work when Daniel's text woke me up at 9. Daniel didn't have plans for today afterall, but I kind of did, so that didn't really work out.

Speaking of work outs, because I didn't wake up again to run, I did another Jillian workout. I was planning on showering and maybe seeing if Daniel was still free, but my grandmother called and asked if I wanted to go to lunch. I was hungry, so I showered and headed over there. After my grandpa was ready to go, we ended up at Phillipes. Kind of far, but well worth it. After Phillipes, we ended up in some mall type place in Little Tokyo and got some cream puffs. I don't think I had ever eaten a cream puff before, and I have to say that I was definitely satisfied.

After spending a little time at back at my grandparents' house, I went to my dad's house. We went to mass, went to dinner, and then I got an interesting text message on the way home from dinner. It was Rebecca, unsolicited, asking if I wanted to go out with her, Vanessa, and Alyx. I was excited that she just texted me, so I was even more excited to go out. I was a very skeptical about it, but still excited. I picked Rebecca up around 9:45, having to wait for her to get ready, as usual, and then we drove to Birch Street to see The Ugly Truth. The ride over there, with just the two of us, felt fairly normal, but I couldn't help but feel like I was kind of faking it. I would love for things to be normal between us and like we were never apart for the majority of the year, but the unanswered calls and texts makes that a little difficult. Something isn't sitting right between us, but she doesn't seem to notice, care, or want to talk about it. I could always bring it up, but I'm a huge chicken and I rather just play along than cause more drama than necessary. I didn't really speak to Vanessa at all, since we were in the theatre, but I didn't feel all that comfy with her. Harsh as it may be, I don't really need her. I've been perfectly fine without her in my life for the past however many months, and I don't really need to bring her and her drama back. The drive home with Rebecca was the same as the drive to Birch, and the drive back to my house was filled with loud music and loud singing.

Now it's time to get ready for bed.

bombshell

The restlessness continues...

I couldn't force myself to get up this morning to go run, but I probably should have. I ended up sleep well into the late morning and did pretty much nothing for the rest of the day. I did, however, do a workout with Jillian and showered.

I was supposed to go to the movies with Tania to go see 500 Days of Summer, but since it's an indie flick, it isn't really playing anywhere local. The closest theatre was in Pasadena, which isn't too far, but Tania opted out. I got the bright idea to ask Rebecca if she wanted to do something today, but, as usual, I didn't get a response. I don't know why I tried. I don't know why I still want to try.

When my mom came home, my mood totally changed. I don't know if something happened at work, but she was extremely tempermental and lashing out at everything. Then I felt like I did something wrong. She went out, where to, I don't know, and I don't know when she's coming back. As soon as she left I spent a good amount of time just thinking about stuff. About how I hate being home, how I love being at school, and how I hate the fact that I can't grow as a person here. I need out and fast.

I need to see Roman. He understands me. I think that if we spend time together I may go back on a promise, but I'm sure it'll make me feel better. It always does.

Charm School tonight has made my day.

Guage

Waking up early to go running went better than I expected. It was already hot in my room, so I was going to wake up soon anyway, so waking up at 5:50 wasn't a big deal. I had planned on doing two laps around Rivera, but I ended up going halfway around Rivera, along the train tracks, and then back home. After coming home, I sat outside for a bit to cool off and then surfed the web until the urge to crawl back into bed was too strong.

I slept for about 2 hours, tanned for about 30 minutes, and then lounged around until 2. The electric company came and shut off the power, so I needed to go pay the bill to get reconnected. It was only 70, and I got paid back, so it wasn't a problem.

Last night I got the idea that I wanted to get plugs. I looked up some pictures, and pretty much made my mind up. After I paid the electric bill I headed over to Bangles to see if they had any super small gauges. I was thinking I'd start off with 16s or 14s, but they didn't have any that small. I thought about going home, but I found myself at Monkeys to Go instead. Chris hooked me up with some 10s. I could've got 8s, but I went smaller instead. And now I'm thinking I should've got the 8s. I'd probably be in more pain if that was the case. My parents don't know, and I'm not planning on telling them any time soon.

The rest of my evening has been pretty lame. Nothing special. I should probably get to bed if I'm going running in the morning...

sale

Summer.

It was too hot to sleep last night and it was ridiculously hot when I woke up this morning. Though I did find it amusing that I didn't know where I was when I woke up.

I spent the morning getting ready for my interview at Sears, which ended up being all for not. I figured it wouldn't go so well, and it didn't. They aren't hiring just for the summer.

My orginal plan was to go to Sears, go to Rio to handle my transcripts, and then go to my G-Units, but it didn't work out that way. After Sears I went home to change and then headed over to the music store in Fullerton that had the help wanted sign in the window before I left for Washington. The sign was no longer there, so I turned around and went back home. I was hungry, in a house with no food, so I changed again, making sure my neck was covered, and then went to my grandparents' house. I spent much of the evening over there, and then came home around 7.

It may just be the heat, the fact that school is only a month away, or the combination of the two, but I feel extrememly restless. I don't like just sitting here, not doing anything. I don't want to be here. I want to be out doing something with people. Or just by myself.

I need to escape my own thoughts.

vu

Today did not end the way I'd wanted it to.

This morning was great. After waking up and getting ready, Katy and I went to get some coffee and then came back home to watch Bridezillas until it was time for me to go to the airport. Today's goodbye wasn't nearly as difficult as the last one, so that was good.

After making my way through the airport and to my terminal, I figured I would finish off the 5 exposures I had left on my camera. After I reached 27, the number listed on the roll, my camera was still able to shoot, which concerned me a little. I pressed the rewind button, or whatever it's called, but I didn't hear or feel anything happen. When I opened the camera my heart sank. It wasn't loaded correctly and all of the pictures I took were for not. Heartbroken and upset with myself, I couldn't help but remember what happened the last time I went on a trip. I lost my digital camera coming home from Spain with ALL of my pictures from the trip. Fortunately I still had my digital camera this time, but I still lost a good amount of pictures due to my stupidity.

I was pretty much in a pissy mood the entire flight. I was upset with myself, my neck hurt, there was a crying toddler in front of me, a lady next to me that was chewing loudly, and my seat was getting kicked from whoever was behind me. I was not happy. And my day just kept getting better.

The shoulder strap to my bag magically disappeared, traffic was bad, causing me to wait about 45 minutes to get picked up, Jen wasn't home so I couldn't get my car right away, and then my latest discovery, the case I bought for my laptop isn't the right size.

Welcome home.

I can't wait to get back to school.
Hopefully I'll be able to go back.
It isn't looking so hot at the moment.

30

After a late night/early morning, waking up at 7 was not looking very good, but Katy did it anyway. I, on the other hand, slept in til idk when. Maybe around 10ish since I remember telling Tania good luck on her driving test, which she passed.

Around 11:30, Katy came and picked me up with the kids she's been nannying and we headed to Vasa Park where we spent the afternoon. It wasn't all that hot today, so I didn't get in the water this time. The rest of the day was pretty much all chillaxing time, watching tv with the familia, which I really liked since I don't really get that at home, or have I ever. It kind of makes me wonder what it would be like if I had a real family with two parents still. But I haven't known that since before I was two, and I'm not going to get to know what that's like, so I probably shouldn't dwell on it.

I'm not sure what we're doing tomorrow besides getting me to the airport, but I'm sure as long as I get to hang out with Katy, I'll be happy.

Adventure!

I think today has been one of the best days ever. For sure.

I wasn't too happy about staying up to text Rebecca happy birthday, but that's okay. She's my friend and that's what I do for my friends, whether they return my calls or not.

Brunch was awesome. Everything we ordered was delicious and I ate until I couldn't eat anymore, as usual. There wasn't too much time between coming back from brunch and leaving for our big day of adventure, so we got all of our stuff together and headed out. We left about ten after 1 and headed for Mt. Rainier to go find some snow. We got a little turned around after we got off the freeway, but we eventually got straightened out and got to the mountain around 4. We drove as far up as we could go, but there wasn't any reachable snow. We headed back down, but then we found some just off the road, so we stopped. I had no idea what to expect of snow, since I've never actually seen it, so my brief encounter has left me satisfied.

After our Mt. Rainier adventure, Katy and I headed for the Paramore and No Doubt concert. We were hungry and still needed to change, so we decided to pull into a Sonic since we had been wanting to go. The line was super long, but we waited anyway. And while we waited, we changed. It was hilarious. Silly girls.

We made it to the concert, despite the traffic, around 7:30ish, and after some stupid camera and ticket drama, we were in. We missed The Sounds, which was no big deal at all, and made it just in time to see Paramore perform. Oh how I love them. Their set wasn't very long, but it made me happy. No Doubt's set was great. They really know how to put on a concert. As they should, considering they've been touring for years. Parking at the venue was ridiculous, so finding Katy's car afterwards was an adventure in itself. The concert ended around 11, we sat in the parking lot til almost 1, and then finally made it out into more traffic. We ended up taking streets all the way back home, which was also an adventure in itself. Oh, adventures.

Long, awesome day, full of adventures.

deep fried

I most definitely enjoyed today. For sure.

I was informed early this morning, well, not early, but kind of, that my car is good to go and that it shouldn't be needing any work for quite some time. Now I just need to get it detailed and get the trunk painted before school, and I'll be set.

We spent the day over at Pikes Place and the Waterfront, which was pretty cool and different from what I'm used to back home. We started off with some bomb donuts, our first deep fried dish, watched guys throw fish like in the intro to The Real World: Seattle, walked around and ate some samples of stuff, checked out a huge gum wall, kind of like the one over in SLO that Bre took me to, hit up the Waterfront and went to a curio shop and gave french fries, our second deep fried dish, to some seagulls, got Daniel a super cheesy touristy shirt, just like he wanted, got some supplies, drove around for a bit, and then went back home.

After some chillaxing, we had dinner, nothing deep fried, and then started to watch Miss Congeniality. About midway through, we got up and started on our deep frying spree. We had intended on just making Oreos, but then we figured we should do a candy bar too. The Oreos were a success, as was the Snickers, but when we tried to deep fry Dibs, it didn't turn out so well. While sitting in deep fried food comas, we finished the movie, and now it's time for bed.

Long day tomorrow.

Space Needle

Sleep is good. I really like sleep. Getting 1 to 3 hours a night sucked, but last night's sleep was wonderful.

Today, Katy and I spent the afternoon in Seattle, checking out the Space Needle and all the other cool, fun, downtown-y Seattle stuff that there is. The weather was a little on the hot side, but it's probably even hotter back home, so I really shouldn't complain. After hitting up Seattle, we went over to the "U district" to get some bubble tea, aka boba. I was already tired by the time we headed back to Katy's house and wanted to fall asleep on the ride back, but I didn't. I'm normally pretty good about forcing myself to stay awake. I think it's just the heat that's wearing me out. And I tried salmon for the first time. I was a little scared, but it was better than what I was expecting it to be, so that was good. The rest of the evening was pretty much just chillaxing, and now it's bed time.

Seattle

I didn't get a whole lot of sleep last night, but it was good enough since I made it through the day. I woke up around 4:30, but my mom woke up late, so we didn't leave until 5:45 when we wanted to leave at 5:30. No biggy though. I still made it to the airport with plenty of time.

My flight went well. Virgin America is probably the nicest airline I've flown with, so that was really nice. And the girl sitting in front of me was drunk, so that was amusing.

After we landed, I went over and got my bag from baggage claim and then Katy found me. It was really nice to finally see her after being apart for over 2 months. It hasn't totally hit me yet that I'm in Washington, but I think it will fairly soon. I just think it's weird that I'm here right now. It's so different than socal, but I feel like, idk what. That it isn't all that foreign. It's probably just because I'm with Katy and I'm pretty comfortable around her.

We spent some of the late morning and the early afternoon catching some sun and splashing around at Vaso Park, which was also weird. We don't really have lakes over by me. Just ocean. But it was nice and I had a fun time. After our litte lake adventure, we just chillaxed for a while and then went out to dinner with Chris and Katy's sister. After dinner consisted of more chillaxing, some Cranium, a Q run, and some more chillaxing at Isabela's house.

And now, bed. Finally.

rusty

Today was fabulous.

I woke up early, which kind of messed me up, but it was worth it. I left the house around 8 to go pay the water bill, and then I went to pick up Tania for our breakfast date at 9. We ate at Polly's Pies and stayed for about an hour just eating and reminiscing about middle and high school. We had a good laugh on the way back to Tania's house about Nacho Libre, and then I was off to my grandparents' house.

I was expecting to see my grandparents and my uncle, but my uncle was out for the morning. Oh well. I just got to see a little bit of my grandpa since he went to go take a nap pretty soon after I got there. I stayed over til around 10 after 11, just talking to my grandma, and then I went to Walgreen's to get Rebecca a birthday card. I feel bad about not being around for her birthday, but I mean, she probably wouldn't let me know what was going on for the day until the last minute.

After Walgreens I headed over to Daniel's house. We had the house to ourselves for a bit, and then when his mom came home we went to the Quad to get some t-shirts, look around at Petco, and try to find a kite at Big 5. Daniel and I spent the afternoon screenprinting, which was really fun, eating, and watching The Corpse Bride. We ending the day off with getting my car washed before I took it into the dealer.

I got to Honda a little after 5, did what needed to be done, and then met my mom at the post office. From the post office we went straight to the movie theatre to watch Harry Potter. It wasn't as crowded as I thought it would be, so that was nice. We didn't get home until around 9, and then I've been spending the evening getting ready to tomorrow. I was so tired all day, but now I'm wide awake. Not good. I should try to get some sleep.

broken

An hour of tanning + hours of painting = hard work. But not really.

I enjoyed working on my Munny's, but I was glad when I finally finished. I left the house around 5, and was happy to get out of that oven, and headed over to my grandparents' house to see my uncle. I had just turned on their street when I realized I had forgotten my uncle's birthday present smooth. I was expecting to see my uncle and his girlfriend, but apparently they just broke up, so it was just my uncle and two of his high school buddies. After I ate, I went back home to get his present, which was a big hit. After his friends left, he came in and watched Charm City Cakes with me, my mom, my grandma, and later, my grandpa. He was a little tipsy, but still functioning, so he was kind of more fun than usual to talk to. My mom and I both left around the same time and got home at 9.

Pretty soon after we got home, Daniel called to plan what we should do tomorrow. I'm going to breakfast with Tania in the morning and I'm going to see my grandparents after that, so he's third on the list. We decided that I would go over and screen print with him. I have a feeling that we aren't going to have time. But that's okay. Spending time with him is good enough for me, no matter what we end up doing.

deep fried

Today went pretty well.

I woke up at a decent hour and then laid out to tan for a bit. It was still fairly early, but I think it was hotter today than it was when I laid out yesterday around noon. Weird.

After I showered, I worked on my Munnys for a bit, and then set off for my day. My first stop was to the bank to deposit a check my dad wrote me. That should put me back to where I normally have my account. It's been sitting at $34 for a while, and it was starting to concern me.

I got to Daniel's around 2:45 and then we set off for Norwalk to see Year One. It was actually really funny and I'm glad that's what we decided to do. It was still fairly early when we got out and Daniel said he wanted to spend more time with me, so we ended up at Target and I got a few things. We saw Rebecca's sister and one of her brothers, but they didn't see us. I would've texted Rebecca, but 1, they were probably buying her a birthday present and I didn't want to out them, and 2, it's not like she would've responded anyway.

We drove around for a bit after Target and ended up all the way in Brea, and since we were hungry, we decided to stop somewhere to eat. I had a Cheesecake Factory gift card, so we ate there. The food was great and so was the company, so I was extremely happy. Daniel makes me happy.

I needed to get home to finish up my uncle's present, so I dropped Daniel off and went back home. I finish my Munny and I would've finished my uncle's but I made a stupid mistake that set me pretty far back. I just have to do the head tomorrow, so that shouldn't be too big of a deal.

super

I didn't do a whole lot today.

I meant to go over to my dad's since he's leaving for Phoenix tomorrow and then he'll be in Boston when I get back, but I didn't make it.

I laid out on the lounger for a while and then spent most of my day working on my Munny and my uncle's Munny. There isn't a whole lot to my uncle's, so I can't say that's it's looking good yet, but mine looks pretty awesome. I'll probably finish them tomorrow.

And that was my day.

7/12

1:26 AM

Since I’ve been pirating wi-fi all week, I could probably upload all of these blogs I’ve done, but I haven’t.  I’m too lazy.  Maybe I’ll do it tomorrow.

I woke up this morning, checked my e-mail, and then laid outside on the lounger to tan for about an hour.  I felt pretty gross afterwards, so I showered and figured out my game plan for the day.

I went over to Westminster to that art supply store to get a Mini Munny to do for my uncle, but before I did that, I stopped at Micheals to get some paint for that Munny and my mascot Munny.  I made it home close to 4, checked my e-mail again, and then went over to my dad’s.

My sister is only 8, but she’s starting to sound more and more like an adult each time I talk to her.  It’s weird and amusing all at the same time.  We went to mass as a family, then we went out to dinner, and then we stopped to get Emme some frozen yogurt at Rockies.  When we got back home, my sister and I watched Another Cinderella Story, which I enjoyed, despite it’s overly cheesiness, but I left to watch it by myself in my own room when she got too loud and hyper.  When the movie finished at 10:30 I was planning on coming home, but my dad and I got to talking and I didn’t make it home until a little after midnight.  And then my mom and I got to talking, and now it’s 1:30.  I should probably get some sleep.

7/11

12:43 AM

Today didn’t really go as planned, but it was still enjoyable.

My mom woke me up at 7:30, and since I couldn’t fall back asleep, I got up and got ready.  I got all lathered up with SPF, threw my hair up and my sun dress on, and then went to the post office to get my mom’s check.  After I deposited the check, I went to pick up Tania.

I was planning on picking Tania up, heading over to Point Dume, laying out for a while, returning my book, eating at Coogies, and then coming home.  Tania doesn’t think the way I do.  She was wearing jean capris with a cute little top and her make-up all done.  She wasn’t dressed for the beach, so we didn’t go to the beach and I felt way under dressed.  We returned my book, drove through Corral Canyon, and then spent the afternoon on the Promenade.  I ended up with shorts, so that was good.  After I dropped her off at home, I headed home myself, and that’s where I’ve been all night.

My dad called me this morning asking if I wanted to come over for dinner, but that didn’t happen.  I spent most of the evening listening to music and pirating internet while my mom was out with her friends.  When I got super bored, I watched Dedication, a movie Tania let me borrow.  It was okay, but not great, like most of Mandy Moore’s movies.

It’s too hot to sleep, and my mom isn’t back yet.

7/9

11:54 PM

Free at last, free at last!

I finished summer school today!  SOC was a little hard to sit through since we were just listening to presentations, but we finally got through the rest of them and got out early.  I spent about an hour in the computer lab and then went to GEOL for my final.  The final was all that easy, but it wasn’t hard.  It felt good to turn it in and walk back to my car.

I got to my grandparents’ house around 12:30, maybe even closer to 12, and then my grandma and I were off.  We ended up at the Montebello Mall, but first we ate at BJs.  We made our way through the mall to try and find me some shorts, but all I ended up with were tops.  Cute, but not jeans.

And that was my day.

7/8

11:46 PM

SOC was pointless, though I did get some studying in.  I just sat through some presentations and tried to pay attention.  There were a few that I didn’t understand at all and couldn’t see their connection to sociology.  GEOL was fine.  We did a quick lecture, took our test, and then watched some of Jurassic Park III.  I didn’t watch too much of it since I was studying to my lab final.  I was expecting the lab final to be a little different, but I think I did well enough.  I just need to pass, which I will, so it’s no big deal.

After my lab group finished taking our tests, we all caravanned to Casa del Rey in Temple City for a late lunch/ early dinner.  I drove Isaac and ended up getting lost, but we eventually found it.  Even though I should be, I’m not particularly fond of Mexican food, but I definitely enjoyed my fluatas.  I’m going to miss Leah, Christen, and Issac.  I probably won’t ever see them again.  I drove Isaac home, and then I drove myself home.

I pirated some internet, checked my e-mail, and then I fell asleep on the couch until my mom came home, and then I hung out with her for the rest of the evening.  I don’t have anything else to do, besides study, so I think I’m going to go to bed.

7/8

12:14 AM

School wasn’t so bad today, even though I was tired.  I was the last to do my presentation today, which went well enough, sat through a boring lecture, and tried to understand what was going on during the lab.

After I got home, I used someone else’s wi-fi to check my e-mail and then I went to sleep.  I slept for a good 2 hours and woke up when I heard my mom come home from work.  I hung out with her outside for a bit and then spent the evening watching a replay of the Micheal Jackson memorial and the Paris Hilton BFF show.

And that’s pretty much it.  I should be studying for my test and final tomorrow, but I’m too lazy.  I’ll study tomorrow/today.

sociology

I dislike it very much right now.  But I guess being up at 4 AM working on my stupid project is my fault.  I procrastinated all weekend and barely worked on it until it was already super late tonight.

I woke up around 10, ate a huge breakfast, and was home by noon.  Rico was happy to come inside and he and Diva pretty much just kept me company all day.  I i-chatted with Laura for a while, and then procrastinated some more.  And that was pretty much it.  I should be in bed by 5 and I should wake up by 6:30.

Independence

Something I'm trying to earn.

This morning went well.  I ate some Trix, got ready, and then planned on going home to let Rico in the house.  I couldn't leave right away since my dad was washing my car and he had me help him set up for the block party, but after some huffing and puffing about him driving it to Albertson's, I was able to leave.

Rico was still under the house and didn't want to come inside, so after waiting for I don't know how long, I coaxed him out far enough for me to grab him and take him inside.  All the doors and windows were closed except for the kitchen windows.  Those were cracked about 3 inches and there was stuff in front of them.

I made it to my grandparents' house around 1 and was greeted my uncle's new girlfriend and her daughter.  I liked those two, especially the little girl.  She's 2 and a half, a chubster, white, and has curly blonde hair.  She is uber smart and extremely talkative.  She was loving all the attention everyone was giving her, so she was hamming it up big time.  I don't really know what's going on with my uncle and this women, considering she's from Hawaii and is just staying in CA for the summer, and I don't know if there's a possibility that this adorable little girl could be my future cousin.  After they left, my grandparents and I just sat around outside and then I waited for Daniel to call saying it was cool for me to come over.

I got to his house around 8:30, met some of his family, and then watched some fireworks.  I forgot what that was like since I haven't done fireworks in years.  I still love spending time with him, and his family is pretty cool too.  I stayed a little bit longer than the rest of his family, and planned to stay longer than I did, but some stuff came up.

My dad was under the impression that I was sleeping over at his house, when in reality I was sleeping over at my grandparents'.  He called to check where I was and when I was coming home.  Then my mom calls me saying that my dad's freaking out and thinks I'm lying about staying with my grandparents and that I'm going to stay with Daniel or something.  Thanks for trusting me, Dad.  And then she says that Diva got out again and to go get her.  So I rush home, get the dog, and figure out how she got out.  She pushed open one of the kitchen windows.  Rico was nowhere to be found, so hopefully he's okay and just hiding under the house.  I'll get home asap tomorrow.  Drama.

11:45

I’m doing another copy and paste deal since I can’t seem to get onto my dad’s wireless internet and I don’t want to go to his office.

Today was interesting.  I woke up and got ready to an empty house, Jen was here, but she was nowhere to be found, and then once my dad got back from whatever workout he and Emme were doing, he took his car in to the mechanic and I went to go pick him up.  I dropped him off at home, and then I went to my house to check on the animals.

They were fine, the house was fine, everything was fine.  I even vacuumed.  I chatted with Daniel for a bit until my Skype sesh with Katy, and then when that I was finished, I started looking for stuff for my SOC project.  I was planning on leaving at 5:30, but my dad told me to leave sooner, so I left at 5.

I waited around for a bit, and then we all went to some big park in La Mirada to watch fireworks.  I should have brought the book I got yesterday to be somewhat productive but I didn’t.  I was super bored until Daniel came and found us.  It was a little awkward at first, but things got better.  He stayed with us until the end and then we parted ways.

Around 8, my mom had called letting me know Diva got out and then I needed to go get her from some man that had found her.  I couldn’t leave the park because I didn’t take my car and I didn’t know how to drive the car we took.  I had to wait until 10 after 10 to finally go get her.  She was fine, but she busted out through one of the window screens.  I made sure all of the windows were closed, and then waited for Rico.  He almost made it inside, but then Diva had to scare him away.  I waited until 11:30, but he never came in.  I just have to go by in the morning to let him in.

It’s always something.

spf

I bought some, but did I use it? No.

So I didn't have to make my mom think I was going to school. Last night she said just to ditch. So I did. I left around 10, before she left for San Fran, and headed to CVS to get some sunscreen. Then I picked Daniel up, and we were off! Traffic was really bad. We left a tad before 11, but didn't get to the beach until 12:15ish. And since it was cloudy and a little cold, I didn't bother putting sunscreen on. Stupid idea. The sun soon came out and made me all crispy. Only I didn't realize until I got home. Daniel and I stayed until a little after 3 and then headed to Pepperdine.

I gave Daniel a quick little tour of campus before and after I got my library book, but it was a little difficult considering the construction. It looks a lot better than it did when I left, but they still have a ways to go. It's supposed to be done by August, but I don't know about that one. We were both starving after our mini Pdine excursion, so we stopped by Subway. I had wanted to go to Mal Yo afterwards, but we were both too full.

Traffic coming home was ridiculous, as always. But we still made it fun. We talked, sang, and danced, our way home, despite the actions of my disfunctional i-pod. I love spending time with him. We can just be sitting there, doing and saying nothing, but that's perfectly fine with me. Just looking at him makes me smile, which still scares me a little.

After I dropped him off, I came home, discovered my red body, surfed the net, showered, took care of the animals, and then went off to my dad's. I watched 2 episodes of 16 and Pregnant, then got on the computer to do this. Now, it's bed time.
