I planned things out again. And I got excited about those plans.
And what happened?
Those plans fell through.
Alex showed up to practice today and didn't use the choreography Rachel and I were planning to teach today. Our dance turned out fine, but I think it would've been better if we used the choreography that we did last night. Whatever though. We finished and that's all that matters. We ran through everything a few times, which took longer than we had planned, but we needed it. We need to run through everything as many times as possible in order to get be ready for the show next week. As of right now, we aren't ready.
Between rehearsal this morning and orchestra rehearsal, I just chillaxed and watched more of The Office. Orchestra rehearsal was awesome. The music sounds awesome, we sounded awesome, and it's beginning to feel real to me. I knew we were planning a whole production that we'd be performing, but hearing the music made it real for me. And the band said we had the best singers and the best music, so that's really good for us.
After orchestra I pretty much just sat around and watched more of The Office. When I got tired of sitting around, around 10, I left to go to In-N-Out. I decided I wasn't hungry, so I drove past the exit. I got off at an exit that sounded familiar, but it wasn't the exit I thought it was. I drove around trying to find something familiar, but it was useless. I got way turned around and gave myself a time limit to find out where I was. I almost called Laura and then I realized where I was. My sense of direction worked out tonight because I made it back safely.
Laura was nowhere to be found tonight, so I was stuck with watching SNL by myself. It wasn't all that funny, but I only caught the last 45 minutes of it, so maybe the first half was funny. Idk.
I feel kind of down tonight for some reason. I don't know why. I don't really have anything to be down about. I think that's part of why I kept driving. I needed to think about things. I needed to clear my head about things. But that only lasted a little bit since I got lost. Trying to get back home took up a lot of my thinking energy. I still feel really bad about my communication issues though. I just wish I was able to communicate with the people that are important to me.

I've hit a wall. I thought I was doing so well in the beginning, and I think I was doing well considering how I was in high school, but I've come to a stand still. I know what needs to be done communications wise, I just don't know how to get there. It tears me up inside that I can't communicate the way I want with the people I want.
I had no problem talking to the people in Vegas that I had pretty much just met. And they were drunk, so it double didn't make any sense. I just don't understand why I can't change my perspective around so that I'm actually functional. I know what I want. I don't know how to get what I want.
I think I need to talk to Rebecca...
